August 19, 2024 Now that we are less than 80 days away from Election Day, it's time to get our story straight and dispel all the lies the mainstream media says about Donald Trump's record on LGBT rights. We encourage you to utilize the Outspoken website as a tool and follow their Instagram and X (Twitter) handles for the content they are posting to get the message out. At getoutspoken.com you can find articles that are useful to cite. Below is an amazing article debunking the common lies told about Trump and his record on LGBT rights. |

Another good talking point to mention is Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch writing the majority opinion in Bostock v. Clayton County which guaranteed that LGBT people cannot be fired from their jobs based on who they are (article here). Even CNN gave Justice Gorsuch credit. As for Project 2025, the Trump campaign responded with this most recent statement: "President Trump’s campaign has been very clear for over a year that Project 2025 had nothing to do with the campaign, did not speak for the campaign, and should not be associated with the campaign or the President in any way. Reports of Project 2025’s demise would be greatly welcomed and should serve as notice to anyone or any group trying to misrepresent their influence with President Trump and his campaign – it will not end well for you" (Fox News). We encourage you to research some of these talking points to stay informed. It is our job to educate those around us about President Trump being the most inclusive Republican president of our lifetimes. |
